Terms and Conditions for Private DJ Event

1. Booking and Confirmation

1.1 A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total fee is required to secure the booking.

1.2 The remaining balance must be paid in full on the day of the event date.

1.3 Bookings are confirmed only upon receipt of the deposit.

2. Cancellation Policy

2.1 In the event of cancellation by the client, the deposit is non-refundable.

2.2 Cancellations made within 5 days of the event will incur a charge of 20% of the total fee.

2.3 If the DJ cancels, a full refund of any payments made will be provided, and efforts will be made to find a suitable replacement.

3. Event Details

3.1 The client must provide accurate details of the event, including date, time, location, and any specific requirements.

3.2 Any changes to the event details must be communicated at least 2 days in advance.

4. Equipment and Setup

4.1 The DJ will provide all necessary sound and lighting equipment unless otherwise agreed.

4.2 The client must ensure there is adequate space and power supply for the DJ setup.

4.3 Access to the venue for setup must be provided at least 2 hours before the event start time.

5. Performance

5.1 The DJ will perform for the agreed duration as specified in the booking confirmation.

5.2 Requests for overtime will be accommodated if possible and will incur additional charges unless extra time is not available due to other bookings.

6. Venue and Legal Requirements

6.1 The client is responsible for ensuring the venue meets all legal requirements, including licenses and permits.

6.2 The client must ensure the venue complies with health and safety regulations.

7. Liability

7.1 The DJ is not liable for any damage or injury caused by third parties during the event.

7.2 The client is responsible for any damage to the DJ’s equipment caused by guests.

8. Force Majeure

8.1 Neither party shall be liable for failure to perform obligations due to events beyond their control, such as natural disasters, acts of terrorism, or other unforeseen circumstances.

9. Governing Law

9.1 These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario.

9.2 Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Toronto.

10. Acceptance

10.1 By confirming the booking and paying the deposit, the client agrees to these terms and conditions.
